Description
The RKI GX-3R is the world’s smallest and lightest 4 gas monitors. The lightweight and compact design allows the user to clip it on their collar or lapel, which is within the breathing zone. OSHA defines the breathing zone as a ten-inch radius around the worker’s nose and mouth, and requires that worker exposure monitoring air samples be collected in the breathing zone.
The GX-3R utilizes a new generation of micro sensors that help to increase reliability. The LEL sensor uses two active filaments to increase resistance to silicone poisoning. The electrochemical O2 sensor has a 3-to-5-year life span. The H2S and CO sensor is a combination sensor. The GX-3R also has an available hydrogen compensated CO sensor available as an option.
